ATLANTA—(GPS) As was!
expected, the question of the [

Having lost the first round in
the legal fight to nullify the
county unit system when a three

for injunctions which would have
invalidated the July 17 State
Democratic primary, attorneys
for the plaintiffs immediately be

To combat the appeals, Atty
General Eugene Cook invited W,

Letter to Editor
! Mr. C. Cooper Etheridge, Editor
| Houston Home Journal
| Perry, Georgia
! Dear Cooper:
1 I want to sincerely congratulate
you tor the fine contribution you
made to the Farm Rureau in the
publication of your excellent
newspaper for the past two
weeks, and to assure you that the
entire staff of the Georgia Farm
Bureau Federation is grateful for
this spirit of cooperation.
Having spent several years in
the weekly newspaper business
1 am familiar with the extra work
connected with getting out a
special edition, and I know it was
necessary for you to neglect some
of your other duties to accomplish
this fine public service.
With this contribution on your
part 1 am confident Houston
county will reach its quota of GOO
members in short order, and it
would not surprise me to see this
figure exceeded.
With kind personal regards,
I am
Yours very truly,
H. R. Yandle, Director
Public Relations.

Reginald Trice, president oI i

Houston county’s quota for'

Speaking before the Perry Ki

of this section of Georgia which

Houston county would do well to
spend this sum when immeasura
