Andrew College where she re
ceived a diploma in secretarial
science. She is now employed
w .th the AAA office in Perry.

The groom-elect was graduat
ed from Lanier High School,
where he was active in the R. 0.
X. C-, having served as captain
in his Senior year. He served 37
months in the U. S. Army as a
Reconnaissance Platoon Sgt.
with Merrills Marauders in Bur
ma. He is now employed with
the Georgia Power Company at
Perry,

The bride-elect is a graduate
of Butler High School. Since,
graduation she has held positions;
in Atlanta and terry, at present!
she is employed by Lee M. Paul
Insuranse Agency of Perry.
Mr Hicks is the son of Mr. 1
and Mrs. G. W. Hicks. His:
mother is the former Miss Elba
Lou Ogletree daughter of Mr. C.
I. Ogletree and late Mrs. C. I.
Ogletree of Perry. His paternal
grandparents are the late Mr.
J. T. Hicks and Mrs. W. S.
Hicks. His brothers are Rev.
Robert Hicks of Lend, Washing
ton, Carlton, G. W' Jr , and
Charles Hicks, all of Perry.
The bridegroom elect attended
Perry High School, and served
four years in the U. S. Army.
He is now connected with his
father in farming interests.
After a short wedding trip to
points of interest to Florida, the
couple will make their home in
i Perry.

Colemans sold their house to Mr.
and Mrs. W. W. Gray, who then
exchanged the Coleman house
for the home owned by Mr. and
Homer Chapman. Th e Chap

home and the Grays will take
Chapman home.
