Hunter and the late Mr. Hunter of Tallahassee, Fla. Her paternal grandparents were the late Mr. a n d Mrs. John Chester Harrison of Grovania. Miss Harrison is a graduate of Pern High School and attended Andrew College where she re ceived a diploma in secretarial science. She is now employed w .th the AAA office in Perry. Hr Manier sthe only son of Vr and Mrs. Roy Curtis Maner,! c.. ’ 0 f Macon. He is the broth er of Mrs. Hugh Wright of Den ver Colo. His mother is the former Norma Allene Webb, daughter of Mr. W.T. Webb and thp late Charlotte Clifton Webb of Atlanta. His father’s par ents are the late Mr. R. W. Ma nor and Lula Maner of Smyrna. The groom-elect was graduat ed from Lanier High School, where he was active in the R. 0. X. C-, having served as captain in his Senior year. He served 37 months in the U. S. Army as a Reconnaissance Platoon Sgt. with Merrills Marauders in Bur ma. Army stationed in Kentucky; James Jarrell - U.S. Navy stationed in Hawaii. Her mother is the former Miss Eve lyn Gaultney daughter of Rev. M. T. Gaultney and the late Mrs. M. T. Gaultney. Her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. ; and Mrs. J. D. Jarrell. The bride-elect is a graduate of Butler High School. Since, graduation she has held positions; in Atlanta and terry, at present! she is employed by Lee M. Paul Insuranse Agency of Perry. Mr Hicks is the son of Mr. 1 and Mrs. G. W. Hicks. His: mother is the former Miss Elba Lou Ogletree daughter of Mr. C. I. Ogletree and late Mrs. C. I. Ogletree of Perry. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. J. T. Hicks and Mrs. W. S. Hicks. His brothers are Rev. Robert Hicks of Lend, Washing ton, Carlton, G. W' Jr , and Charles Hicks, all of Perry. The bridegroom elect attended Perry High School, and served four years in the U. S. Army. He is now connected with his father in farming interests. After a short wedding trip to points of interest to Florida, the couple will make their home in i Perry. Mr. und Mrs. M. M. Lowry of Hickory, N. C., and Rob Bald win, Jr., of Marshallville were visitors in Perry last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. 0. Coleman have moved into the house with their daughter, Mrs. Stanley Smith, and Mr. Smith. The Colemans sold their house to Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Gray, who then exchanged the Coleman house for the home owned by Mr. and Homer Chapman. Th e Chap mans will take the Coleman home and the Grays will take Chapman home.
