Georgia's Timber
Is Being Wasted
Georgia farmers are losinp at
least 300,000 cords of wood a
fear through improper cutting
in your stands, This remarkable
fact is pointed out by R. L.
Mosely, state management spe
cialist lor the Georgia Depart
ment of Forestry in the current
issue of the department’s timber
market bulletin,
“A picture of the forest to- 1
day,” he points out. “ is by no
mean? a dismal one, but unless;
the people of the State awaken
to the need for the proper hand-
Jin p o 1 their timberlands,
there is certain to come a day
when me forest industries and
landowners will suffer from lack
of suitable timber with which to
operate and earn a profit.”

Dozens of aeronautical experts
