If you are walkingon the high way, where there is no sidewalk, always walk on the left side of the road facing the traffic. The motorist’s vision is limited. He can see oncoming cars and white markers—but pedestrians, especially those with dark cloth ing, blend into the night and can not be seen by the driver until he is too close for safety. If you walk, look out for your self; don’t rely upon the driver. Wear or carry something light that the driver can see. If you walk on the highway habitually, carry a flashlight. Boomed Jenny P. T. For oranges the best storage tem perature is just above freezing, 32 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. At this temperature they may be held in commercial storage 8 to 10 weeks, Limes keep best in a slightly warm ; er temperature, 45 to 48 degrees, and | may keep 6to 8 weeks. Lemons like it even warmer, 55 to 58 degrees, and may keep 1 to 4 months. The | temperature for grapefruit depends on its source and condition. Sound I fruit, not overmature and not likely , to suffer from stem rot, can be held at 45 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit j for 6 weeks in commercial storage.
