DUBOIS-AVERA
Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Risher an
nounce the marriage o f their
daughter, Kathryn Dußois, to Wil
liam David Avera. The marriage
took place at the Risher home at
8:30 a.m. Friday, December 6.
The bride is the youngest
daughter of Mrs. Risher and is a
senior in Perry High School.
The groom is the son of B. Hor
ace Avera, of Fort Valley, and
Miami, Fla., and the late Mrs. Loy
cc S. Avera. He served in the Navy
Air Corps for 30 months, being in
the Pacific for 6 months. He is con
tinuing studies in Perry High
School.
Miss Dußois was dressed in a
light blue wool suit, wearing brown
shoes and hat. Her corsage was pink
carnations. Mrs. Harry Dußois was
the matron of honor wearing a
deep aqua suit with black acces
sories. Her corsage was of pink car
nations. The best man was J. Wil
liam Hudson, brother-in-law of the j
groom.
The couple left on a short honey- |
moon to Lookout Mountain arid 1
Rock City, Tenn., after which they
will return and continue school. In
January the couple will enter Mid
dle Georgia College at Cochran.
