Robins Center Announces Fall Quarter Classes Robins Resident Center (RRC) has announced plans for the Fall Quarter of classes which will herald the beginning of its third highly successful year of operation. The Fall Quarter, which commences on 18 Sep tember, includes an offering of 15 lower level (Freshman- Sophomore) classes and 16 upper level (Junior-Senior) classes. This is a record number of offerings and made possible by the con tinued high level of enrollment, Robins Resident Center is the undergraduate educational center for Robins Air Force Base conducting evening un dergraduate courses through the University System of The long years of your past patronage has been sincerely appreciated. Founded in Sep tember 1970, its purpose is to provide courses and programs appropriate to the educational needs of civilian and military employees at Robins Air Force Base and their spouses. RRC is located in Bldg. 1675 at the corner ot Duke Street and North Davis Drive in the dormitory area. Current academic programs include the first and second years of college work leading to the Associate in Science Degree in Business awarded by Macon Junior College and the third and fourth years of work leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree awarded by Georgia College. All courses earn resident credit and can- didates can complete all of j their degree requirements at 1 the Center. A per quarter « average of 580 students i attended RRC for the past academic year with course enrollments up 9 percent over the initial year of operation. The application deadline for the Fall Quarter is 25 August. Applications for all new students and reap plications for prior students who were not enrolled in the Spring Quarter must be received by that date. In addition, this is the final deadline for receipt of high school transcripts and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores for those en tering as beginning fresh men. Special arrangements have been made for in terested students to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test both at Macon Junior College and at the RRC. Harrison Funeral services for Luther McCormick Harrison, 69, of Route 2, Perry, who died Thursday of a heart attack, were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Perry United Methodist Church. Rev. Elick Bullington, Rev. J. B. Smith and Rev. Dale Buttrill officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Langston, Fred Langston, Jr., Charles Whitworth, Jr., Dozier Blackstock, Tommy Kersey, and Charles Cawthon. Mr. Harrison was a native of Houston County and resided here all of his life. He was a retired produce far mer and a former Macon policeman. He was a school bus driver for the Houston County Board of Education for 18 years, and was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosalie H. Harrison, Perry; one daughter, Mrs. R. C. Maner of Flagler Beach, Fla.; one sister. Mrs. W. H. Thames of Perry; and two grand children. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
