State Convention’s Composition.
In the Democratic state conven
tion which # meets in July there
will be 350 delegates. The ap
portionment of these will be ac
cording to a bill passed by the
general assembly last session^ in
which seven counties lost one rep
resentative each and seven gained
one each. Under the pro
visions of this, bill, the next house
will be composed of representatives
from three classes of counties.
In the first class are those boun
ties entitled to three representa
tives each: there are six—Bibb,

In the third there are 105 coun
ties, entitled to one representative
each.
In the convention each county is
entitled to two delegates for each
representative in the house. As
the congressional district is often
considered the unit in referring to
delegates, the following table of
district counties and delegates is
given:
