Jackson EMC Linemen
Named Among the Best
We're proud of our linemen at the 35th Annual International Lineman's Rodeo in
Bonner Springs, Kansas. Two of our lineman teams earned some of the top awards
against competitors from around the world.
» First Place, Overall Team Among Electric Cooperatives: Justin Cash, Austin Gragg
and Clay Phillips.
» Second Place, Overall Among All Teams: Justin Cash, Austin Gragg and Clay Phillips
» Third Place, Overall Among All Teams: Kevin Grant, Matt Tolar and Scotty Tompkins.
Other awards for Jackson EMC linemen were: Justin Cash, Austin Gragg and Clay Phillips,
second place in the polymer insulator changeout, and seventh place in the switch changeout;
Kevin Grant, Matt Tolar and Scott Tompkins, second place overall team in the electric cooperative
division, eighth place in the polymer insulator changeout and eighth place in the switch
changeout; and Dillion Welborn, ninth place in the hurt man rescue among apprentices.
We're proud of our linemen for working hard everyday
