Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5,2018 in the Chapel of Memo rial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Levi Nix and Rev. Jimmy Campbell officiating. Inter ment will fol low in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 4,2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Born on June 28,1933 in Gaines ville, GA Mrs. Brewer was the daughter of the late Jim and Inez Ransom. She was retired from Barry Manufacturing where she was an inspector. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Temple Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brewer is preceded in death by her husband, H.W. “Buddy” Brewer; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Nov. 4,2018 Charles ‘Joe’ Emerson Crane Jr. Sept. 6, 1944-Nov. 1, 2018 Charles “Joe” Emerson Crane Jr., 74, of Rockmart, died Thurs day Nov. 1,2018. Charles was born in Gainesville on Sept. 6,1944, to the late Charles “Jack” E. and Frances E. Ham Crane Sr. Charlie was retired from Lock heed Martin and served in the Air Force and was stationed in Guam during the Vietnam War, he was an avid fisherman, loved to dance, play Santa and find a good deal. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by various aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Frances A. Crane, daughters; Amy (Robert) McGrew, Michelle (Dustin) Moore, Katie Duncan and estranged daughter Melissa (Wili) Thomason, sister; Beth Sud- derth, uncle; Bob Ham. 9 Grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre ceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Kelly R. Davis; Larry and Mary Davis, Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Charles T. Gatlin, Duluth, GA, Duane L. and Celia Davis, Braselton, GA and Amy and Rob King, Cumming, GA; great grandchildren, Andrew Gillman, Devin Davis, Taylor King, and Ashton King; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and John Griffin, Newnan, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Mary Nash, Grayson, GA; sisters-in- law, Sybil Nash, Gainesville, GA and June Nash, Dacula, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pearl was born in DeKalb County she attended WD Thompson and Druid Hills High School. She lived most of her life in the Rehoboth Community and attended Rehoboth Presbyterian Church until she moved to Buford 13 years ago and attended Bethle hem United Methodist. Pearl was married to Kelly R Davis for 57 years. She spent 30 years with F W Woolworth Company in Deca tur and North DeKalb Mall. She started as a seasonal employee at EASTER making Easter Bas kets and was hired on full time and spent her career as Office Manager and was the Inventory Control Specialist for the Atlanta District. After her retirement she spent 12 years as Bookkeeper at Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Decatur. The family would like to thank Agape Hospice and Lov ing Care Senior Living Concierge Services for their outstanding loving and personal care each provided during her short illness. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem United Method ist Church with Rev. Craig Murray and Rev. Paul Garner officiating. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Mem ory Gardens in Tucker, GA. Nov. 4,2018 Robert Woodrow Jett Jr. April 8, 1972-Oct. 5, 2018 Robert Woodrow Jett, Jr., retired Air Force, passed away peacefully Oct. 5, 2018 at his resi dence in Angeles City, Pampanga - Philippines. Robert was born, April 8, 1972 in Gainesville, Ga. He grew up in Hall County and was a 1990 graduate at North Hall High School. A few years after grad uating he joined the US Air Force. He is survived by his son, Christopher Blake Jett of Japan. Robert was proud of his son and especially of Christopher’s aca demic successes. He is also sur vived by his parents, Robert W. Jett, Sr. and Loretta A. Harper both of Gainesville, Ga; a sister, parents, Henry and Lelia Mitch ell Nash; sister, Evelyn Barclay; and brothers, Raymond Nash, Jimmy Nash and Billy Nash. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Aundrea C. Detwiler and her hus band Wesley R. Detwiler of Cum ming, Ga; two nephews, David S. and Daniel J. Detwiler; a niece, Rachael A Detwiler; and two great-nephews, Wesley and Austin Detwiler. Additionally, there are a multitude of cousins whose com pany he always enjoyed. He often talked about family reunions when all would be together for an entire weekend. Those were trea sured memories for him. Nancy was born on Oct. 25, 1942 in Atlanta, GA to the late James W. and Corday Mears Williams. She lived her younger years in Coral Gables, FL and was a gradu ate of the University of Kentucky in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Nancy was an ADPI, Daugh ter of the American Revolution, part of the Gainesville Newcom ers Club, and beloved member of the Greek Group. Nancy, loved to travel, read, play bridge, drink manhattans, take sunset cruises, sit on the beach, her front porch, create Christmas stockings, bak ing banana bread and all things chocolate, and always looked for excuses to throw a party. She managed her husband Mark Vincent, was a full time mother, homemaker, part time Real Estate agent, and good friend to so many. Her husband’s career took the family to Germany, Holland, this place called New Jersey, New Mexico, Illinois and Georgia which has been home for more than 4 decades. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Mark Vincent, sons; Mark Winfield (Laura) and Cord Mitchel (Kelly) Marlowe, grand children; Brett Gerald and Cecilia Nancy Marlowe. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be Saturday, Nov. 10 from 11-1 p.m. at the Harbour Point Club House, 3313 Harbour Point Pkwy, Gainesville, GA 30506., a brief ser vice will be led by the Rev.
