Vote Absentee Voting Units

November 21, 2018 at

The Georgia Mountains
Regional Commission is
assisting the
City of Gillsville with the
update of their State-
required
Comprehensive Plan. This
document will help guide
future
- policies and actions in
accordance with a locally-
derived vision
for the community, and will
ensure the City of Gillsville
will
-have full access to all forms
of State assistance and
resources.
As part of this process
the GMRC and the City are
engaging
local residents and
stakeholders to learn their
thoughts about the
future of the community. If
anyone would like to offer
input _
about the issues facing the
City of Gillsville, or just ask
questions about the process,
there will be a public
meeting held
on December 4th, 2018 at
7:00PM, at:

in forum with an informal
presentation of the Needs
and Opportunities section

County Courthouse in
the City of Gainesville,
Georgia, the presiding
Judge of the Superior Court
of Hall County will hear
the case of the STATE OF
GEORGIA v. GAINESVILLE
AND HALL COUNTY
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
and ZF GAINESVILLE,
LLC, Civil Action File No.
2018CV2013W in the
Superior Court of Hall
County, the same being a
proceeding to confirm and
validate the Gainesville and
Hall County Development
Authority Taxable Industrial
Development Revenue
Bonds (ZF Gainesville, LLC
Project), Series 2018 (the
"Bonds"), in an aggregate
principal amount not to
exceed $46,000,000. The
Bonds are to be issued by the
Gainesville and Hall County
Development Authority (the
"Issuer") for the purpose of
financing, in whole or in part,
the cost of acquiring and
installing a certain project
in Gainesville, Hall County,
Georgia comprised of certain
machinery and equipment
for use in the existing facility
of ZF Gainesville, LLC (the
"Lessee") in the City of
Gainesville, which facility
is used by the Lessee for
the manufacture of axle
drives (the "Project"). The
Project will be leased to the
lessee in order to promote
and expand for the public
good and welfare industry
and trade within the Hall
County, Georgia, and to
reduce unemployment
to the greatest extent
possible within Hall County,
Georgia. Said Project will
be leased by the Issuer to
the Lessee pursuant to a
Lease Agreement, dated as
of November 1,2018. In said
proceeding the Court will
also pass upon the validity
of said Lease Agreement,
a Financing Agreement, a
Security Agreement and
a PILOT Agreement in
connection therewith. THE
ISSUER HAS WAIVED THE
PERFORMANCE AUDIT AND
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
REQUIREMENTS PROVIDED
IN O.C.G.A. § 36-82-100
AND WILL CONDUCT NO
PERFORMANCE AUDIT OR
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
WITH RESPECT TO THE
BONDS.
Any citizen of the State of
Georgia residing in Hall
County, or any other person
wherever residing who
has a right to object, may
intervene and become a
party to this proceeding.
