ary meeting with Mrs. H. M. Har¬
grove, a Praise Service, led by Mrs
S. W. Boswell. The February meet¬
ing will be held at the school audi¬
torium, and an interesting program
will be given.

The Week of Prayer was observed
by the women of the Baptist church
with services held in the different
homes. The leaders were Mrs. C. S.
Adams, Mrs. S. W. Boswell, Mrs.
S. R. Skinner, Mrs. J. C. Walker,
and the subjects discussed were:

eign Lands,” Japan, China, Brazil,
Italy and Africa.

the Stephen Hopkins chapter D. A.
R. was held at the home of Mrs. R.
H. Richard, on Friday afternoon. The
following officers were elected for
the ensuing year: regent, Mrs. D.
B. Frederick; vice-regent, Mrs. R.
H. Richard; secretary, Mrs. M. S.
Ware; treasurer, Mrs. W. E. Lester;
registrar, Mrs. J. W. Neil. The next
meeting will be with Mrs. D. C.
Rumph, on first Friday in February.

Bessie Booton, Miss Mary Niles,
