Department of Agriculture sent to
Cuba for the purpose of gathering
parasites of the sugar-cane moth
borer are accomplishing good »e
results. The parasites are now being !
received at Brownsvihe, Tex., for dis-1
tribul • i n the cane fields of that
region, where sugar care matures
earlier than it does in the Louisiana
fields. A little 'ater consignments of
parasites will be sent to the Louisiana
fields and to other places where su
g- ar cane is growing.

To the Superior Court of said Coun
ty.
1. The petition of G. L. Strip¬
ling, J. D. Duke and E. L. Duke
shows to the Court, that they desire
for themselves, their successors and
associates to be incorporated under
the name and style of G. L. Strip¬
ling Company for the period of
Twenty years with the privilege of
renewal at the expiration of that
time as provided by law.
2. The principal office and place
of business shall be in the city of
Fort Valley, Georgia, but petition
j ers pray that they may have the right
I to establish branch offices at other
! places within and without the State
of Georgia as may be found expe

dient.
The object of said* corporation ia
I pecuniary gain for themselves and
the stockholders; to that end it is the
purpose of said corporation to pur
chase or otherwise acquire, deal in,
sell, lease and repair automobiles.
motor trucks and tractors and vehi
cles of every kind whatsoever;
well as all machinery, accessories, ma
terial, engines, appliances, parts and
equipment and things adapted for
the use in the construction and opera
tion of said vehicles; to do and car
ry on a general garage business, and
to deal generally in farm machinery
and implements and all of the ac
cessories and supplies incident there
to, and to do such things as are us¬
ual to such business.
3. The capital stock to be em¬
ployed in said business shall be the
sum of Forty Thousand Dollars, to
be divided into shares of One Hun¬
dred Dollars, each, with the privi¬
lege of increasing said capital stock,
from time to time, to an amount not
over One Hundred Thousand Dol¬
lars, by a majority vote of the stock
outstanding at the time.
Petitioners show to the court that
more than ten per cent of the capital
to be employed has been paid into
said company.
Petitioners desire the right to have
the subscriptions to said capital
stock to be paid in money or proper¬
ty or services to be taken at a fair
valuation.
4. Petitioners pray for the right
to sue and be sued, to plead and b« •

mon seal, to make all necessary by

corporation to wind up its affairs,
any time it may determine so to -do
by a vo te of two-thirds of its Stock
liquidate and discontinue business at

said corporation the rights above
enumerated, and such other rights,
powers and privileges and immuni
ties as are incident to like corpora
tions or as are now or may be per
missible under the iaws of the State
