boy, the angels rejoice that another
has been added to their number.

lady cried at his departure?
The farmers are all very busy plant¬
ing their crops and moving forward,
looking for better times. They are
not planting so much cotton this
year. Glad to say that a portion of
them are making their own fertiliz-
ers.
Mr. IT. M. Currie, a member of
the firm of Currie & Martin, hap¬
pened to a very serious accident on
Sunday evening last, by getting
thrown from a bicycle, fracturing
bis collar bone and bruising him up
very much. We hope for Mr. Cur¬
rie speedy recovery.

Rev. Geo. Clark will preach at
the Elbert Fletcher school house on-
the fourth Sunday in this month.
Elder Jas. Gibbs is able to visit
his church once more, after an ab¬
sence of five months, caused by
sickness.
Mr. and Mrs O. J. Luke are with
their sister, Mks Samantha Luke,
her grandfather’s, Mr. Jas. Paulk.
