Gotlon Mills.
We understand that it is only a
short while before Conyers will
have cotton mills.
We get this gratifying news
from a reliable source; from a
gentleman who is, or will be, deep
ly interested, and he talks as if
the cotton mills are assured.
Let all of our people put their
shoulder to the wheel and give
Conyers one big shove forward by
doing all in their power to have
the mills by the next cotton crop.
From what we can learn the meth

tory are the best we have had and
we hope our people will stir up all
their enterprising energy and. give
us better assurance of the mills by

The readers of this paper,, will
be pleased to iearn that there is at
least one dreaded disease that
science has been able to cure in
all its stages and that is catarrh.
Halls Catarrh Cure is the only
positive cure now known to the
medical fraternity. Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires
a constitutional treatment. Hall's
Catarrh Cure is taken internally,
acting direct upon the blood and
mucous surfaces of the system,
thereby distroying the foundation
of the disease, and giving the pa¬
tient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature
in doing its work. The proprie¬
tors haye so much faith in its cur¬
ative powers, that they offer One

The government mints are now
turning out standard silver dollars
at the rate of 1,500,000 a month.
It may not be inopportune to re¬
mark that these dollars are a full
legal tender, are not redeemable
in anything and are ‘‘money of
final payment.” Yet, in the face
of these indisputable facts, some
of the silverite leaders insist that
silver is “demonetized.’’—Savan¬

sentences are common in Alsace
