His funeral took place on Friday morning, the ser¬ vices being conducted by Elder J. M Brittain, assisted by Re'f. J. N. Brad¬ shaw and \V. F* Kobisou. On last Saturday evening, as Mr. Ab¬ ner Turner, one of the best citizens of our county, was returning home from work, liis mules became unmanageable and ran away, throwing him under the wagon and giving him serious external ami internal injuries.
