Mr. At Huron and h’ <, “mile is also along. The effr>rt bein^ made by parties to defeat Lamar Wood for 'ax ]. ctor is one that should be sever' )y eat down upon by the people. He has been fairly nominated and is fairly entitled to the office He is a good, deserving boy ard i worth' the support of the people, lie i« a pure democrat, having supported the nominee, his oppom nt, when he. {Wood) was defeated in the nominu t on bf fraudulent mesn*, and de¬ serves the support of the democrat of this count y. For twenty-four years the Demo eraiic party has hoped, struggled and worked, against the radical party, it> roguery, money coriuption ; hamper¬ ed by bolters and independents tn it* own ranks. Just remem¬ ber, young man, if your friend mar¬ ries, you ought to think enough of h!m to send the edetor word aboui it. Oommunieation. Wetumpka, Ala., Sept. 28, 1884. Atrout six years ago 1 became afflict¬ ed with a very disvgreable skin dis¬ ease, with large, dry sores and many misted pimples on my face, hands and shoulder. The sore on mv shouidere eat out a hole nearly an inch deep, and the cancerous ap pearame of one of the sores near my eye alarmed me very much. I tried all kinds of treatment, but found nothing that seemed to aflect the disease. I ftnn !y deeit' d to try 8 S. S. on advice of a physicainn, and in a short time the scabs droped from the sons and left ntv skin smoth and well. I consider S. 8. S. the great blood medicine made and the only thing that will cure the disease with which I was sflbeted. I think my troubles was «he r« suit of a terrible attack of tnalarie fever, traded while fa ming in Tallapoosa river swamp. I can be foun 1 at my office in the courthouse at Weturnp ka.
