Tilley is prepared to lend money on improve farms in Hock dak .md Newton counties on five years time at the low race of sis per ceir per annum. See him. OUR FARMER FRIEND. It is claimed that a large num¬ ber of farmers have pledged themselves to the support of the third party movement and will do all in their power to break down and destroy the Democra cy. There may be a considera ble number who have been lean¬ ing towards the third party and who have acted to some extent with it, but there are a very few who have blindly sworn allegi¬ ance without first making them¬ selves thoroughly “acquainted with its platform and princi¬ ples. We have no abuse for those who have been inclined to go off. There is no doubt but what the laboring classes have been oppressed by some laws and need relief, and they are an ea¬ sy prey for the unscrupulous political demagogs who hold out to them bright promises of bet¬ ter times through the new par¬ ty. They have not the same ad¬ vantages as their city brethren to get posted, but when theyjbe come acquainted with all the facts their action is for the right Only let our people fully under¬ stand ^the principles of third partyism government ownership of railroads, telegraph &<•, and the infamous pen-?- plank; and there is not one m a hun¬ dred; unless he be an imported Yankee, a republican or an offi¬ ce hunter; who would touch it with a forty foot pole. They condemn the effort which is fbeing made by such dirty sheets as the Alliance Far¬ mer (an agricultural journal without one line of farming mat¬ ter in it) and People’s Party pa¬ per to array one class against another. There papers are ap¬ pealing to the very worst preju¬ dices, in the worst manner, and are happiest when they see that the people are troubled, mad and blind with uncalled for jeal¬ ousy of their brothers who may be of some other business class. This unnecessary agitation will last but a short while. Our farming class are honest, they are brave; they are true to their country and their homes; they will soon see that their best friend is the grand old Democ¬ racy which has fought for the South “hehen everything else was against her; tha t through the Democracy will come then best and speediest relief and will march up shoulder to shoul¬ der with their brothers and bum third partyism, republicanism and indePendentism beneath a mountain of honest Democratic ballots The B 2 sa.a.He 3 t Pill cmd. ^ ^ of recruiting THE heaiih SECXiET Sr, ■ j-.ooTc.aa aig ^ © tut: a a •Tisiif- Liver Pi nHTWTi rs, :-s * & ^ In liver aSfeetion*, »lc\t hcmlKche. bilious ilyn- ^ pepsia, flatulence, heartburn, and a-1^ # A colic, eruptions cf the shin, ^ troubles of the bowels, their curaore V effects marvelous.
