Horse trading seems to be on hi e increase in this county and some of tbe boys are becoming quite expert at the business. Death at 112 Jacob Loyal, col - , died last Monday after having attained according to all accounts, the age of one hundred and twelve years. His son, who is himself approaceing the 90 mile post, gives his age at 118, but a little calculation brings it down to 112. For several years past the old man had almost entirely lost his eyesight, but otherwise he was able to work about the yard until within a short time before Ids death. His memory was splendid and he could talk interestingly, ’tis said, of his experiences in the various wa* periods of this country through which he past.
