She was a devoted member of the Baptist church, a noble clii'it — dan teacher in our Sunday school. Her funeral was con¬ ducted by her pastor, B. I). Ragsdale, D. D. The long funeral procesion comprising many of the Chris¬ tian people of all denominations of Gonyers, that followed her remains to the burying ground, was a slight k ken of the esteem in which. she was held in her own community. It seems to have been an easy' matter for her to make her home the aliid ing place of love and gentleness Christian life. it came natural to her because of her trust in God: and tin's sweet spirited daughter is doing in her immortal home what we could not see she was doing in her mortal home—leading the un¬ saved of her family to God and heaven.
