In the first place the usual costs or perquisites that went into the pockets of the marshal, deputy marsh and clerk, now finds its way into the treasury of tlu city. This is a new departure and will no doubt work to the good of tiie town. The next important move was on the part of the street commit tee and determines that all hitch mg posts in front of stores, must be moved, and all plow Stockl¬ and other goods, usually exhib ited on side walks and in front tf stores, must be kept on tin inside of the stores. The spit it >f the street committee is to keep the Street clear, and in good condition. The next move looked for is expected to uoint from the sanitary committee md is expected to effect tin •‘hog raisers” within city limits. It is very plain that 1 he may¬ or and council expect to enforce all the ordnances, and may uake still others in emergency cases. For Infants and Children.
