The school at this place gave an exhibition last Friday night. The exercises were very good. Af¬ ter some discussing representa¬ tives of The Constitution, De Kalb New Era and Klondike Herald were permitted to note the proceedings of the conven¬ tion. But these maids serious¬ ly objected to the Conyers Week ly’s artist, who wanted to pho¬ tograph the convention. Several were down from Lithonia, in¬ cluding Lithonia’s string band Rov. A.C. Pyle gave an ad¬ dress, at the close of winch lie recited a piece (Sockery ) which the crowd enjoyed very loudly.
