recent heavy nuns tbs public roads o:

needing repairs, and under the plant
previously adopted, it is impossib’e t<
make such repairs as early as necessary,
therefore.
Ordered 1st. That all previous order?
as to road working iu the county be re¬
voked.
2nd, That from the (’ate of this ordei
until the 1st- day of January 1908. all
persons subject to road duty
outside of the city limits of Conjers,
shall be required to work on the public
roads of said couuty for the space and
term of three days of ten hours each,
and to work on such roads and at such
times as they nay be summoned to wo
without regard to the road or district,
and to furnish such farming tools m
work with as may be required by the
overseer.
Jrd, That any road hand may be re¬
lieved of srid three days work by paying
a tax of oue dollar ami fifty cents to any
duly appointed r«ad overseer iu tli# dis

4th, That all the road hands working
the thiee days or paying the tax, shall
be receipted iu full, l>y the district over¬
seer, for road work until January 1st.

5th, That mules #r horses to plow may
bo taken iu lieu of work when thought
best by the overseer, at the rate of fifty
cents a day•
(5th. That all overseers appointed, who.
are subject to road duty, shall be requit ¬
ed to pay the saint tax as road hands
