Editor Morning News: There appeared an article In your paper of the 16th in stant giving estimate of amount of life Insurance the <*ool parties would pay o the survivors of the Galveston disaster for policies carried on those who perished, and placing the amount at ten million dol lars This most extravagant estimate is cal culated to prove disastrous 4o the work of procuring further relief for the suffer ers. and should be corrected. Now. a very high estimate for the loss of life for Galveston and all the storm swept section is I.oo® people.
