left In distress by Ihe recent disaster was
very successful. The hall was well filled
with the friends of Ihe firemen and oth
er* who had purchased tickets out of
sympathy with the good cause. Excellent
music was furnished by Kosenfeld's Or
chestra. which had tendered ll* services
for the occasion without charge.

the cakewalk, done In costume by Mas
