thirty-three persons, nineteen of them

The Norwegian steamer Collanda anew
steamer of 3Wt tons, was making her
third voyage from Port Arthur with a
general cargo for Jai>anes* ports, and

by the steamer lac Maru. She had forty
passengers and a crew of twenty, with
five foreign officers The lie Maru pick
ed up the survivors and brought them to
Nagasaki.
Two foreigner*, twelve Japanese and
