hold their usual *trrei meeting last night
They were notified that the permit grant
ed by the Mayor had been revoked, and
that In the future no more meetings would
he allowed In the business section of the
city. The usual meeting was conducted
In tho Army Hall on Weet President
street. Those officers In charge of the
work are hopeful that the street work
will he continued, and will call upon the

dismissed for much lighter offenses there
Is little doubt that the day* of Hartley,
as one of the "finest'' are numbered.
