This Woman Gowriled Wurderer

From the Fhtla>klphU Press.
Many strange stories of human action
have come out of the go*d fields of Alas

woman who guarded a murderer for
months, then, when no one came to her
i succor, hanged the prisoner to Hmb

The woman * name Is Mrs Hans Nel

M. hael threw op* n the gun birrels and

'* wildcat upon him. She twisted her

Her husband, slower of action, but now
aroused to Ju-tlii.ibl rag**, grappled with

j him to desist. Together they bound the
murderer hand and foot and rolled him

It was a grewsome day's work that lay
before them, and tt* frenzy und exolte

the necessities of the hour.
Thev went outside the cabin Into the
Minllght and clear air of the day, and
with picks and shovels dug graves on the
loach They were shallow, but were the
ie.iilt of an hour's hard labor. ller they
hurled their two friends. Nelson reading

With an nergy l*rn of Intense exclto

murderer
Then there were days of waiting—day*

They were alone in that wild country,
