This threatened proceeding on the part
of the Central has caused a sensation arvl
the suit will be one of the most Important
and Interesting ever fought out In the
r-ourts of thl* county. No paper has as
yet been Med but It I* ptobahle that the
lessees of the slate road will hi served
with an ejectment notice within the next
lew days.
The Central claims ownership of this
valuable properly through the old Motitth ,
Railroad Company, which secured a deed
thereto In IMO. and which was afterward*
transferred to the old Macon and West
ern Railroad, which waa succeeded by the
Central of Georgia.

lative enactment will appeal to the legis
lature for the opportunity to vote on the
prohibition question.
