She will address the Junior section of the Savannah Council Tuesday morning at 12:30 o'clock in the Chapel, and all the young Jewish girls in the city are es pecially asked to attend, as are all others interested. TEA AT THE GOLE CLUB, Yesterday afternoon was a charming one at the Golf Club, the clear weather after the rain of the morning making the links most inviting. Mrs. Malloch was hostess at the tea, and had ar ranged the club house most beautifully, with palms placed about the room, flowers on the tea table and a pretty grouping of plants on the mantel and small tables. An open Are burned in the fireplace, and the mantel above was filled with small palms, garlands of hothouse smilax being draped about the mantel shelf. Flowering pink be gonias adorned the small tables through the room, and on the long mission table, from which the tea is served, stood a vase of La France roses. Owing to the fact of a large entertainment in town, attendance at the tea was rather slim, only a few guests being out to enjoy the after noon. Mrs. Malloch was assisted by Miss Brown, and among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Mayhew Cunningham, Miss Woodbridge, Mrs. Hay, Mrs. Charles W. Saussy, Miss Ashley, Miss Margaret Cosens, Mrs. George Inglesby, Mr. Noble „ Hardee, Mr. Kennedy Owen. Mr. Alonzo Sybrandt, Mr. Allan Bond, Mr. Rich, Mr. John Hammond, Mr. Canon and Mr. Strobhar. Considerable Interest is being shown in the Golf Club this year. The links are in perfect condition and the en tire course has been much improved. A great deal may be said about the new belts, for they form an essential part of the costume. In the beginning It must be stated that they are divided Into several classes. No longer Is a belt a belt. It Is sometimes a girdle. Again It la a stomacher. Again a belt Is so fashioned that It forma a wide back making a postilion effect; and It la so cut that It la deep enough to dispense with the skirt waist. With a deep position belt, and a handsome deep stock, one can put on one’* winter Etpn coat and be very presentable. There Is one pretty belt more In the form of a girdle, and made of liber ty satin. It is smooth and wide and Is laid in folds. It is vsry deep, com ing almost up under the arms. It is snug and it is put togsther without visible fastening. There la neither MPKCIAL NOTICK. hoi.ldav nortumm and ATI KAcrriVK OIFTK For Ladles now on sale (MWI LADIKM’ HAIR DItKMMNU FAKJjOH 4S Bull Mteeet hook nor eye and there is no buckle nor button of any kind. Such a girdle Is best made over a crinoline foundation. But you can do very nicely by taking three yards of Liberty satin ribbon four Inches wide. • To make your girdle pin one end of the ribbon in the front fastening It securely. Now begin and wind the ribbon tightly around your walat, gradually increasing the width of the girdle. Finally pin the loose end tightly and Invisibly with tiny pins. MtKIVII INVALIDS COM FOB TABLE.
