The marriage of Miss Claudie Son
theimer and Mr. Max N. Kohler took
place at the home of the bride in New
Orleans, Wednesday evening at 8:30.
The house was very elaborately deco
rated, three_ large connecting rooms
being thrown into one for the occa
sion. The bridal party descended
through a winding stairway, lined with
palms and ferns.
The bride was gowned in white mesa
line and tulle, beautifully combined.
She carried a shower of white roses.
Miss Kohler, of Savannah, attended
her. She wore a handsome Empire
gown of light blue transparent silk,
over pink taffeta, with a yoke of point
lace, and angel sleeves of pink chif
fon. She carried an armful of fa
France roses. There were two little
flower girls, nieces of the bride, both
gowned in white mull and lace.
Many guests were present, among
them the bride's sister and brother-in
law from Natchez; Mr. and Mrs. Koh
ler. Mr. A. S. Kohler, and Miss Koh
ler from Savannah, and relatives and
friends from Macon, Albany and other
cities.
Mr. and Mrs. Kohler will reach Sa
vannah Jan. 1, and will be at home for
the present at 215 East Waldburg

married Friday evening at 9 o’clock,

sonage. The marriage was a very
quiet one, only a few friends being

H. Sanford, of Macon; Mr. J. C. O'Neal,
of Savannah, and Mr. and Mrs. W. h!

groom left yesterday morning for Los
Angeles, Cal., to make their future

the Methodist parsonage. Rev. J. W.
Lowrence performing the ceremony. It
was a Gretna Green affair and only at
