social aeaaon for the autumn and win
ter of 1(10 will begin In Atlanta Prac
tically all social events will be dated
during and after the horse show, which
will gain In brilliancy and Inturest
from the fact that it Is the flrat social
event after a long period nr rest and
recreation for society in this city. The
boxes have been taken by representa
tive people of the city and wilt be filled
with a fashionable company. The
debutantea will make their first really
formal and public appearance, and the
many visitors to be here will add to the
social Interest of th* occasion.
Buppsrs and Balls at th* Clubs.
The opening night of the horse show
wlll be followed by many supper par
ties and a ball afterward at the Pied
mont Driving olub.
The Horse Hhow association will en
tertain the fudges and a number of
prominent exhlblton and visitors, and
many people will form supper purties
for the oceaslon. Ths elub will be
elaborately decorated with the Insignia
of the horse show, and numerous flow
er, and palms.
On Wednesday evening, the aeeond
night of th* horse show, the Driving
club will again be a brilliant scene after
the performances on the tanbark. Mr.
James 11. Nunnally and Mrs. Nunnally
will-entertain a supper party In honor
of aaveral prominent visitors, their
guests to Include a number of Atlanta
people besides the visitors. Mr. Brooks

Atlanta's horse show will not be
grated by the officers of th* Seven
teenth infantry as the sole representa
