“They are growing more and more
in popularity,” said J. B. Withers,
wholesale distributor for Meditation
cigars for this section, in speaking
of this popular cigar, which has been
advertised quite extensively in this
city.
“We have succeeded in placing
Meditation cigars in practically every
cigar store in Atlanta, and our or
ders from over the Htate are con
stantly growing. We have seldom
handled a cigar which has met with
more instant public approval, and the
indications are that it will prove a
permanent success.”
One of the methods which has
proved very effective in advertising
the cigars, as well as placing them
on sale in all of the leading cigar
stores of the city, was the employ
ment of a midget salesman, who thor
oughly covered this territory recently
and was favored with a large num
ber of orders. The little fellow is now
in South Carolina, where he is meet
ing with similar successes.
