Washing Won’t Rid
‘ Head of Dandruff
The only sure way to get rid of dan
druff is to dissolve it, then vyou de
gtroy it entirely, To do this, get about
four ounces of ordinary liquid arvon;
apply it at night when retiring; use
efiough to moisten thé scalp and rub
it ih gently with the finger tips.
Do this tenight, and by morning,
most if not all, of your dandruff will
be gone¢, and three or four more ap
plicationa will completely disgolve and !
entirely destroy every singie =ign and
trace of it, no matter how much
dandruff you may have.
You will find, too, that all itehing
and digging of the sealp will stop at
onee, pyd vour hair will be fluffy,
lustroud glossy, silky and soft, and
look and feel a hundred times better.
You can get liquid arvon at any
drug store. It is inexpensive and
never fails to do the work.—Adv. 1

Dance Teacher Contests

Complaint on Her Hall
Recorder Johnson was called on
Thursday morning to decide whether
Migs Tommie Brantley, who teaches
dancing at 100 1-2 Whitehall street,
was subject to the city license law
‘covering dancing halls.
Miss Brantley was summoned by
Inspector Woodall, following c¢com

woman contended she is not running
a dance hall, saying no dances are
given, and her business consists solely
in giving private lessons,
Miss Brantley said she would bring
the mattér before council. The re
corder ruled that a tempeérary per
mit granted her by the city would
suffice, pending decision.
