NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
1 SECTION 3 of the rabies law states: “PRIOR TO JULY
1, OF EACH YEAR, EVERY OWNER OF A DOG SHALL
1 CAUSE SUCH DOG TO BE INOCULATED AGAINST RABIES
1 BY THE RABIES INSPECTOR, OR BY HIS DEPUTY, OR BY
A LICENSED VETERNARIAN. Evidence of such inoculation
shall consist or a certificate signed by the person adminis¬
I tering the vaccine." The reason for the rabies inspector

making rounds in this county before July 1 was because
I Dade County was suffering from a small outbreak of rabies.
Dr. E. E. Chambers, Trion, Ga., rabies inspector of Dade
County, will again make appointments for vaccination of
dogs.

NOTICE OF SALE
Whereas, on the 16th day of
May, 1944, J. E. Page executed
and delivered to D. T. Brown, a
certain security deed, to the land
hereinafter described to secure
the payment of thr^e promissory
notes, each for the principal sum
of $150.00, said notes were of
even date with the security deed,
and were due and payable, one,
I two and three years from May
16th, 1944. Said security deed is ;
I of record in the office of the
Clerk of the Superior Court of

book, No. 29, Pages 410 and 411,
I reference thereto being made I
I for its terms and provisions,

made in the payment of the
principal note due, May, 16, 1945

notes has elected to exercise the !

power contained in said security
deed, and in accordance with
the law made and provided the
undersigned will expose to sale
and sell to the best and highest
bidder for cash, at Public out cry
at the door of the Court house
in Trenton, Dade County, Geor¬
gia, on Tuesday, the 7th day of
August, 1945, within the legal
hours of sale, the following real
estate, to-wit:
Beginning at a corner of N. W.
Garner, Charley Ballard and
Burnet Adkins lands; thence
running North 770 feet to the
center of the road; thence run¬
ning in a Southeast direction
with the road a distance of 786
feet; thence South 482 feet to
the line of M. M. Garner; thence
West to the point of beginning.
Said tract containing about ten
acres more or less, and being a
| the fraction 19th of district lot of and land 4th No. section 70 in
of Dade County, Georgia.
Said land will be sold as the
property of J. E. Page, and to
divest out of him and or his
; heirs and assigns, all right, title
or interest which they may have
in and to said land and vest the
same in the purchaser.
The proceeds from said sale
will be applied, first to the pay¬
ment of said indebtedness, in¬
terest and expenses of sale; the
balance, if any, delivered to the
said J. E. Page.

ties Law, as amended, of Geor¬
gia, that a public hearing will
be held before the Ordinary of
Dade County, Georgia, on the
6th day of August, 1945, at 10:00
A. M., at the County Courthouse,
in the City of Trenton, County
of Dade, State of Georgia, at
which an opportunity to be
heard will be granted to all resi¬
dents of Dade County, Georgia,
and to all other interested per¬
sons upon the questions:
(a) Whether insanitary or un¬
safe inhabited dwelling accomo¬
dations exist in Dade County,
Georgia, or there is a shortage
of safe or sanitary dwelling ac¬
comodations in Dade County,
Georgia, available to persons of
low income at rentals they can
afford, and #
(b) Whether one regional
housing authority for the
Counties of Chattooga, Dade,
Whitfield, Murray, Gilmer, Walk
er, Catoosa, Gordon, Fannin and
Pickens, Georgia, would be a
more efficient or economical ad ¬
ministrative unit than the
Housing Authority of Dade Coun
ty, Georgia, to carry out the
purpose of the Housing Authori¬
ties Law, as amended, of Geor¬
gia in Dade County, Georgia.
After such hearing, said Court
of Ordinary will determine
whether or not there is a need
for one regional housing au¬
thority to be created for all of
such counties.

the home of Mrs. Koger. Bro.
Jones will have several other
ministers to assist him. Every¬

their home on Saturday.

ing Mrs. Cantrell’s mother, Mrs.

S. Middleton, and Dr. Middleton.
Mr. Lester Chardwick, of Velley
Head, Ala., visited relatives here
