road equipment is kept in good
condition at all times, that we
may have all-weather roads, es¬
pecially for our mail and school
bus routes, and I personally will
see that all road work is carried
on in the best possible way, and
I myself will make frequent
trips of inspection on all roads,
and be answerable to the people
regarding their condition.
(8th) When any local matter
of importance shall come up
pertaining to any particular
community, I shall be glad to
discuss the matter with the citi¬
zens of such community so that
the matter may be worked out
to the best interests of all.
(9th) I shall always be glad
to discuss all matters of vital
importance with the Grand
Juries and Solicitor so as to fol¬
low the law in running our coun¬
ty government .
(10th) I do not think that our
morals or our interest would be
helped by the sale of beer or
other intoxicating liquors in our
county, especially when it is not
the will of our citizens. I. there¬
fore, WILL NOT issue any such
license.
I will use economy wherever
possible, yet at the same time I
will put forth my best efforts,
and it will be my pride to give
you one of the most progressive
administrations our county has
ever had.
