BADE SENIOR CLASS RECEPTION AT DYER’S Mary Townsend After the class night exercises •vere over, and all the folks had ;one home, the members of the enior class gathered at the Dy- r’s for a reception- I like to tave never found an excuse to ’O. but finally found three sen- ors and a teacher who wouldn’t get to go because they didn’t have a way to go home. Thes^ ”our I latched on to like grim leath and offered my services as 'hauffmir in exchange for an in¬ vite. Of course all of this was vithout the knowledge and con¬ sent of the hostess, but she was -mite courteous about it and didn’t throw me out on my ear The table was lovely. Some¬ body in that family is an artist it arrangements. The punch bowl wts surrounded by an ar¬ rangement of red verbenas and ireens and on each end of the ’able was a large tray of cookies. Naturally this part of the deco¬ ction appealed most of the •oung guests. Mrs. Dyer served the punch tssisted by Mrs. H. S. Phillips \fter refreshments were served mmes were enjoyed by the mests. I wish that I could tell you ex¬ actly what each sweet girl grad¬ uate wore and just how very ovely each one looked, but I find ’hat I can’t get the right name connected with the proper dress Roselyn was in white which is r o becoming to her. Imma Dean Lacy wore blue, don’t tell, but 'hat dress is stunning when it’s nulled down in the off-shoulder r tvle. Ruble Livingston alsr -"ore blue. Edna Belle Cagle wore blue with a corsage of red carnations. Charlotte Sullivan neiir Wallen and Clara Cuzzort wore nink. Edna Lea wore white -nd Vweinia Kenimer wore blue When Elene was taking their nictur^s thev looked like a big bouquet, of flowers- I haven’t been able to see a ingle senior this morning to get i complete guest list so next •••eek I shall put a P. S. to this article and tell you who else was j Miere and what they wore. Right here and now a full naragraph should be dedicated 'o as handsome a bunch of boy grads, as I have ever seen.
