GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE

SECTION 1.
That paragraph IV, ar.d Section
t, of Article VII of the

SECTION 2.
Be it further resolved by the
authority aforesaid that when the
above proposed amendment to the
Constitution shall have been
agreed to by two-thirds of the
member* elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assem¬
bly and the same has been entered
on their Journals with the ayes
and nay* taken thereon, the Gov¬
ernor siail be and he is hereby
authorised and instructed to
cause such amendment to be pub¬
lished in one or more newspapers
in each Congressional District of
;his State, for two months next

Section I of Article VII of the
Constitution providing that the
exemption from taxation of the
homestead of residents shall not
apply in the County of DeKalb as
against levies of taxes for school
purposes by the County Board of
DeKalb County.” If the people
shall ratify such amendment by
a majority of the electors qual¬
ified to vote for members of the
General Assembly voting thereon,
such amendment shall become a
part of the Constitution of this
State. The returns of the elec¬
tions shall be made in like manner
as returns for elections of mem¬
bers of the General Assembly and
it shall be the duty of the Secre¬
tary of State to ascertain the re¬
sult ar.d to certify the result to
the Governor, who shall, if such
amendment be ratified, make
proclamation thereof.
SECTION 3.
Be it further resolved that all
laws and parts of laws in conflict
with this resolution be and Vy,

CITY OF TRENTON
BE It ORDAINED by the Mayor
and Council of the City of Tren¬
ton, Georgia, that from and after
the date of the passage of this
Ordinance, all persons operating
motor vehicles or horse drawn
vehicles on the Public Square in
said City of Trenton, shall oper¬
ate and drive such vehicles to
the right of the Court House in
whatever direction they may be
traveling, and so that said Court
House shall at all times be and
remain on and to their left. Be
it further Ordained that any and
all persons found guilty of a
violation of the provisions of
this Ordinance shall be fined not
less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor
more than Ten Dollars ($10.00)
for each offense.
The above Ordinance read and
passed at regular session on this
