Dade County FAIR OCTOBER IS—16 RULES AND REGULATIONS The Show Committee reserves the right to change any all rules and call off any classes and premiums for causes within the power of the management to control. Every caution will be made rgainst lo.'s or damage, but in no, event will the ommittee he ’iob’e for loss or damage to any exhibit. All exhibits must be entered by not later than 12 o’clock first day of the Fair, which is October 15, except livestock, will be brought in by 10 o’clock, Saturday morning. No article shall be allowed to compete for two prizes. All agricultural exhibits entered in competiton for must be raised in 1948 and must be products of Dade unless otherwise specified in premium book. In case of only one entry in a class, second money only will be given and this left to the discretion of the judges as whether the exhibit is deserving of a prize. A first premium only will be given where exhibitor own competition and second money only where there is no com¬ petition. The executive committee will have complete authority in all matters. The judges decision will be final in all awards. The judges will award prizes on regularly mentioned articles on the pre¬ mium list and may award ribbons on such articles not mentioned. Premiums will not be paid according to ribbons, but by shown in the judges record book, for ribbons do not always mean money prizes, and they sometimes may be attached through mistake, or may be misp’aced or lost. THE JUDGES IS THE ONLY GUIDE FOR PAYING CASH AWADRS All entries must be labelled v hen brought in with name product, exhibitor, name, community and for which class Intended Exhibitors always’have the privilege of selling anything have on display for delivery at the close of the Faij or to orders for delivery. 4-H Club Poultry Chain Show will be held Friday, October 15 Exhibits will be removed after 5 P. M. Saturday. -:x:- AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY COLLECTION EXHIBIT Committee in charge: Pattie L. Boswell, Hugh Clark, Evans, Robert Dunn. These exhibits should well represent' all activities the community or school distri< t, which it sponsors and if sible be sponsored by some club, such as home club, school, veterans training tea her, comumnity farm ation. Three out-of county judges will be secured to this community exhibition. All the exhibits must be by neon Friday, October 15, *and must remain In place Saturday, 5 P. M.
