Elder L. H. Pitton preached
his farewell sermon here last
Sabbath. He and his family are
moving to Spartanburg, S. C„
where he will act as pastor of
two churches there.

Elsie attended the dahlia show
in the ball room of Hotel Pat¬
ten in Chattanooga last Sun¬
day. Some lovely blooms were
exhibited.
Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Peterson
and Vern Clark returned last
week from a trip through 111.,
and Michigan, where they visit¬
ed friends and relatives. The
Benton Harbor (Mich.) fruit
market, the largest in the world
was visited. There is an enor¬
mous fruit crop throughout
Michigan, and of course fruit
is cheap. Fruit lies rottening
every where.
