TO THE PEOPLE OF CATOOSA,
CHATOOGA, DADE AND
WALKER COUNTIES
I wish to express to you my
deep and sincere appreciation
for your votes and nomination
of me in the Democratic Pri¬
mary fer Judge of the new
Lookout Judicial Circuit. I am
grateful to the many who sup¬
ported me and worked in my be¬
half without remuneration. I
feel very proud of the nomina¬
tion and the confidence you
have in me but at the same time
I do feel humble. I know you
will support me as the nominee
in the general election. I repeat
again, I received no contribu¬
tion and did not pay one cent
for a vote or influence. I will
have no obligation nor promise
except to the. people to make
you the best judge within my
power and ability and I realize
I will be the judge for all the
people of the circuit.
Gratefully yours,
Freeman C. McClure.
