Wheeler moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., last week, they will reside near his employment, the Chatta¬ nooga Glass Works. Mrs. W. R Lacy, Mrs. Glen Gray, and son Steve spent Sun¬ day afternoon with Mrs. H. C. Gray on Lookout Mountain. We see our neighbor Mr. and Mrs. Bill Norton have spent an enjoyable past week. The Dade Countian is now a mecha¬ nic in San Antonio. His wife is the former Ann Lawson of Dade County. Joe Campbell, of R:cky Face, has been visiting his Mrs. Jennie Campbell. Mrs. Lilly Amos has been siting relatives in Mr and Mrs. Chester Me Carty announede the birth of daughter December 10. Bailey 67, of Flat Rock, passed away in a Chatta¬ nooga Hospital Friday Decem¬ ber 8 following an accident suf¬ fered in a run-away herse and wagon incident, December 1. He was a native of Georgia, but had lived in DeKalb County since childhood. He made his home around Fyffe until the last five years when he moved to Flat Rock. He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Eyie Lou Bailey, two daughters, Mrs Be’sie Donaldscn. Ft. Payne, Miss Eva Grace Bailey, of Flat Rock; four sons. Olin Bailey, of Skirum, Rosco Bailey, Ft. Payne, Donnie Bialey, Flat Rock and Lee McWhorter; seven grand¬ children; two sisters, Mrs. Do- shie Frazier, of Ft. Payne, and Mrs. Mary Coleman, Grove Oak; two br„thers, Joe Bailey, of Grove Oak, and Jackson Bailey, Ft. Payne, Rt. 3, Ala. Also other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Beulah Church, near Fyffe,, Sunday December 10 with Rev. Ted Dawson and Rev. Bailey of¬ ficiating. Pallbearers were Ira Jones, R. D. Andreson, E. B. Kight, J. B Hudgens, Elzie Hughes, and Doil Hughes, Flow¬ er girls were relatives and friends. Burial was in the Beulah Ce¬ metery with McBryar Funeral Home in charge.
