GROCERY TRENTON, GEORGIA Dade County Lagging In Saving Bonds Drive by $14,000 Dade County, it was reported this week, is lagging behind its 1950 U, S. Saving Bonds goal by a total of $14,137. Dade’s goal for the year was set at $15,000 and to date the people of the county have purchased only $863 worth of Bonds. Joseph G. Woodruff, State Saving Bonds sales director, said he hopes Dade County will buy $5,000 in bonds In Decem¬ ber. Woodruff said also that Geor¬ gia has been called on to raise eight and one-half million dol¬ lars in bond sales by the end of this year.
