IN SHEFFIELD, ALA.
The Dodge truck which was
stolen from Williams Motor Co.
last Monday night, was found
in Sheffield, Alabama, with
half a tank of gasoline in it.

Plans August Picnic
The Avans Home Demonstra¬
tion Club met Friday night at
the home of Mrs. G. H. Kirt-
land. Mrs. Elliott led the de¬
votional with a Bible reading
and prayer.
Mrs. Robert Freeman gave
some. interesting points on can¬
ning, describing its history as
far back as 1810.
The Club’s Annual Picnic
will be held at Warner Park,
August 13th at seven p. m. All
members and their families are
invited to come and bring a
picnic lunch.
Delicious refreshments were

Pointing out that it is man¬
datory for these three groups to
come under the law the first of
the year, Louis R. Stein, Jr.,
manager of the Chattanooga
Social Security office says:
