Nobody eats or sleeps with any peace of mind since it happen- ed wondering who will be next to fall victim of the lawless ones. It behooves every citizen and resident of Dade Co. and surrounding territories to put forth every effort possible to bring the culprits to justice. Glad to report Mrs. Noah For- ester much better. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Castle¬ berry are proud parents of a new son. In last week’s paper we gave a report of a grandson born to Mrs. Canova-Guinn, and a son to Mr. and Mrs. Lecn Keith. The paper stated the grandson was born to Mr. and Mrs. Leon Keith. This mix up was quite amusing to some whether the Keith see any humor in it or not. Apologies to the Keiths. Another saw mill in the vici¬ nity. Soon we will have the noise of industry around here whether we see any products from it or not. Our quilting was postponed this week due to the death and funeral of Mrs. Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Harri- son and Aileen visited the Brad- fords, Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Howard and Dale visited Mr. and Mrs. Haston Hibbs and Danny Sun- day evening. We believe more shotguns and rifles were gotten out and loaded up since this awful thing happened to Mr. Nesbitt than on any squirrel hunting season yet. Allright, folks, it should get everybody riled up at such cruel lawless things as that and it did. Everybody seemed ready to join the man hunt. Mr. Canova Guinn who is em- ployed in Birmingham has been ! home for the past three or four days. He and Mrs. Guinn visited ] her mother, Mrs. Cushen, in Brainard, Monday. Sunday is regular preaching day here. If you have not heard the new pastor now is the time to start, and if you heard him then come again and supporj him with your presence.
