Nesbit Dies Of Pneumonia i Mr. June Nesbit, who was so cruelly beaten at his home in Cloverdale last October, died December 2 in a Chattanooga hospital. Mr. Nesbit .had been in the hospital ever since the at¬ tack on him and appeared to be holding his own until pneu¬ monia set in, which weakened his condition and took his life. The Georgia Bureau of Inves¬ tigation and police of three s.ates are still working to ap¬ prehend these brutal ruffians. The Nesbits are an old Dade County family. Mr. June’s father, Colonel James Cooper Nesbit, organized Co. H, 21st Georgia Regiment at Rising Fawn during the War Between the Sta.es. His brother, George, who is a patient at the Georgia State Hospital, is the last sur¬ viving member of this family. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Rising Fawn Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Howell officiating. Active pallbearers were Grady Haw¬ kins, Montford Newman, Py- ram Lambert, Richard Fricks, Charlie Williams and G. W. Green. Honorary pallbearers were A. W. Hawkins, S. W.
