A Birthday Club will be started at this meeting and an interesting demonstration given. The Young Adult Fellowship enjoyed a picnic Sunday at Sitton’s Gulch. They report $50 from the play they recently gave — proceeds of which will go on the Parsonage Fund. The play will be given in other parts of the county, soon. CLUB The Avans Home Demonstra¬ tion Club met Friday at the home of Mrs. Grace Elliott with Mrs. Beatrice Freeman presiding. Eleven members were present. Mrs. Kate Elliott had charge of the devotional with Miss Ann Dillinger reading the scripture and Mrs. Pearl Hart¬ line leading the prayer. Mrs. H. H. Bodenhamer read the minutes. Mrs. Kate Elliott gave a report of the dress revue held at Trenton this month. Mrs. Bodenhamer talked on food presenvation. Games were enjoyed by the group, with Mrs. Kate Elliott winning the prize. Mrs. Heckerson made this outstanding record by placing the 11 classes of pictured Du- rocs second best among the 12,297 who enetred the contest this year.
