First Good Snow
Falls Over Weekend
Lookout Mountain residents
reported a five-inch snow
early Sunday morning, while
the valley received a thinner
coating of the white flakes.

atmosphere, the snow soon
melted in the valley, but net
before many real, honest-to-
goodness snow men had been
made, to the delight of the
younger generation.
By Tuesday, the mountain
was. still crowned with white.
