Methodist Meeting

been named official delegates
to the World Methodist Convo-
j cation on Evangelism June
26-28 in Philadelphia, Pa.
The announcement was made
by Dr Joseph H Edge,
date secretary of the Meth-
j odist Church’s General Board
of Evangelism, which has its
national headquarters in Nash¬
ville, Tenn.
The Philadelphia meeting
will mark the opening of the
American phase of Methodism’s
world-wide emphasis on evan¬
gelism this year, Dr. Edge
said.
"We are selecting delegates
from throughout the country to
represent every phase of the
Church — the ministry, lay-
men, church school
the Woman’s Society of Chris-
tian Service, youth fellowships
and the Methodist Student
Movement,” he stated.
