people live in a good country

'the things we have to make a
better community. It is time

The residents of Dade county
have made some real progress
, in the past few years, we have
i better roads, schools, churches,

conveniences, We have
compllshed these things
through many years of hard
work. Yet this small percent j
of the people still destroy our
accomplishments. Are we go¬

I let them keep this up or are we
willing to do something about
it? We have a sheriff and de¬
puties, but they can’t be every-
where at once. It is our duty

to help our law law enforcing of¬

Georgia speed law is 55 miles
hour If this law was car-
out thefe wouldn’t be one
of the accidents that w
n °w have. Sheriff Graham
ys that he and his deputies
don’t stop a car until it ex-
70 miles per hour unless
the driver is driving reckless,
in the City of Chatta-
nooga at the rate of 35 miles
hour and get picked up for
We invite you to drive from
tha Tennessee line to the
line at 70 miles per hou
a nd count the number of cars
that pass you, also take notice
of how many will pass on hills
or curves.
We fell that if the Automobile
Association of America would
advise their members to respect
the traffic signs and abide by
the speed laws that there
wouldn’t be near so many ar-
rests let alone the accidents
that we now have.
